Welcome to my second blog post! I find it helps getting to know the person you have trusted to help heal your body. So...I am going to open up and let you in!
I am a Mom of two young adults. I can say I am very fortunate that they have their heads on straight for the most part and are thriving. This doesn't stop me from worrying about them but I know in my heart that if they need me I am always here and I will always protect them. A lot of my clients are parents who are in the same boat I am, and I can feel the well known parental stress in their bodies. We hold this stress in our spleens and I help move it out of the body so you can stay balanced and keep on helping and worrying about your kiddo's without it building up and causing other health issues! I have learned that holding on to these stressors will build up and cause all different kinds of distress in the body. For me, its constipation and increased anxiety!
I have been divorced for 14 years now. Wow time flies when you are trying to start over and figure out who you are as an individual. It has been really hard for me in some ways. I have had to take a long look at my life and through a lot of therapy I can say I am finally in a good place emotionally, and mentally. Life is challenging and we need to utilize whatever avenues work for us to heal. Mine has been a combination of therapy, and different alternative therapies. One of the reasons I practice Holistic Health is to be able to support women going through these exact challenges. Our bodies have emotional centers called Chakras which when not in balance can make us feel like our emotions are out of control. We have anger that wont go away, grief that keeps lingering and one of the ways to release it is to have a Reiki Session. I am very grateful I am able to help women transition into living their best lives however that looks for them!
I have fibromyalgia/anxiety and depression. Yup....a triple whammy. For me it all started around the age of 16. Having to be an adult at way too young of an age affected me physically, mentally and emotionally. I grew up way too fast and felt the weight of the world on my shoulders. I had no help navigating this for the most part and just kept storing all my emotions in my body. I became a people pleaser, avoided conflict at all costs and tucked away all my feelings. It wasn't until I took the Holistic Health Practitioner Program that I was able to identify what was actually going on with my body. Learning about how we go into fight or flight to protect ourselves was so helpful to me. I began to understand why I felt the way I did during specific situations and just how traumatic my life had been. And this is the main reason why I am a Healer. I understand trauma and how it affects our bodies. And I am grateful every day I can help others find balance and calm so they can keep moving forward and get to where I am today! My life is far from perfect, but now I know how to handle it without shutting down, turning inward and hiding away. I feel a balance that I have never felt before and wish that for everyone!
I am a Healer. I don't know why I have certain abilities to feel what is going on in my clients bodies. I don't know why my sessions help my clients go through chemo and surgery easier. I don't know why they do so well that their doctors are asking them what the heck they are doing and tell them to not stop because their bodies are healing way faster than normal. I do know that I practice with my whole heart and I do everything I can to help everyone. I do know that I can tell you if I can't help you after just one session. (This has happened only once where I sent a client to someone else) Otherwise, I know I can help and get super excited with the results!
I am a 50 year old woman who is figuring out this life like everyone else and will keep on trucking! I have been knocked down and just keep getting back up and every time the thing that I know fore sure is that I am here to help others heal themselves to live their best lives!
